Weather in Los Cabos
Los Cabos is blessed with a salubrious climate made up of warm, sun-filled days coupled with low humidity, making it a popular vacation choice.
Throughout the year, the weather in Los Cabos is extremely pleasant, with even winter temperatures averaging around approximately 70 degrees fahrenheit. Summer months have temperatures averaging around the nineties but even then, Los Cabos, due to its proximity to the sea, is not as hot as some parts of Mexico that share the same latitude.
The primary factor affecting weather in Los Cabos is the tropical latitude that it is situated in and the nearby ocean. Most of the time, the weather is pleasant and mild with lots of sunshine but it sometimes is stormy in summer.
Most tourists visit Los Cabos during the winter, in the months November through May, so that they may have a respite from North America’s cold winter weather. The rest of the year, tourists can take advantage of attractive discounts on resorts, hotels and airline charges.
Los Cabos does have hurricanes and storms, and visitors in June to November are advised to check up on weather forecasts before setting out. Accurate information on storms is available on the Internet at the National Weather Service's Tropical Prediction Centre.
