Hiking the waterfalls

Explore with our local guides the beauty of the desert and visit the communities of Miraflores and Santiago! In Miraflores, you will observe the tradition of the woodcarving and leather making process. In Santiago, you will admire the mangos, corn, papaya, banana and citrus fields and visit the mission and a natural spring! After this stop, you will hike the mountain range of Sierra La Laguna, a marvelous place that was traversed by our ancestors hundred of years ago and is known as "the oasis" in the middle of the desert due to the increased levels of rainfall that creates a unique tropical biosphere. Our tour ends at the waterfalls on La Sierra, where you can take a refreshing swim if you like.
